Miss Heena Mehra MBBS MS MRCOG

Miss Heena Mehra is an experienced and highly regarded consultant gynaecologist, known for delivering expert, compassionate care across all aspects of women’s health. With over a decade of clinical experience, she currently leads the Early Pregnancy Unit at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust and has previously served as Clinical Director for Women’s Health, where she played a key role in developing modern, patient-centred services.

Trained in both India and the UK, and a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Miss Mehra brings a broad, inclusive perspective to her practice. Her clinical interests include early pregnancy care, menstrual disorders, fibroids, endometriosis, menopause, vulval conditions, and fertility investigations. She is experienced in both laparoscopic and open surgery and has led the introduction of innovative treatments such as HyCoSy and Sonata in her trust.

Miss Mehra is known not only for her warm, empathetic approach with patients but also as a supportive mentor, respected and well-liked by both her colleagues and junior doctors. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, travelling, and spending quality time with family and friends—values that reflect her balanced and thoughtful approach to life and practice.
