Miss Avni Batish is a consultant gynaecologist and obstetrician and the clinical lead for obstetrics at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill. She completed her specialist training through the London Deanery in 2016.
She holds advanced training in several areas, having completed Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) Advanced Training Skills Modules in:
- Colposcopy (with British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology [BSCCP] accreditation)
- Benign gynaecological surgery – outpatient hysteroscopy
- Advanced labour ward practice
Her clinical interests include:
- Abnormal cervical smears
- Fibroids
- Endometriosis
- Abnormal uterine bleeding
- Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
- Suspected female genital tract malignancies
- Chronic pelvic pain
