Daniela is an experienced and compassionate sonographer who specialises in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound at Watford General Hospital. She leads the Early Pregnancy Unit, where her clinical knowledge and calm, reassuring manner make a real difference to patients during what is often a sensitive time.
She began her career in Romania, qualifying as a nurse in 1988 with a strong interest in women’s health. In 2003, she moved to England to further her knowledge in this area and later earned a degree in women’s health from King’s College London.
Daniela’s interest in ultrasound led her to gain a Certificate in Medical Ultrasound in Early Pregnancy and Gynaecology in 2013. She completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound with a focus on obstetrics and gynaecology at King’s College London in 2016.
Away from work, Daniela enjoys long walks, gardening, baking and getting lost in a good book. An avid trekker, she has already explored part of Mont Blanc and is looking forward to many more mountain adventures.
